ATLAS Centre finalizes the building and setting up of its installations, the first in Spain working on UAS testing
The ATLAS Experimental Flight Centre, first facilities in Spain exclusively devoted to test unmanned aerial systems (UAS), is almost ready to start working. The initiative, boosted by FADA, is in the final stage of building and equipment and set up processes have already been started, so they could start developing their activities soon. As a result, it is expected that the centre could be working at full capacity in the coming weeks.

Community Infrastructure Deputy of Jaen’s Provincial Government, José Castro, has recently visited the installations. He also checked constructions that this company has started in order to improve and set up the ATLAS Centre access road. During the visit, José Castro, was accompained by ATLAS director, Anastasio Sánchez, and the Councillor for Public Works of Villacarrillo Town Hall, Francisco Miralles.

It is expected that this project will be finished by March and will serve for improving the current status of the centre access road and rebuild the road surface, beside the new traffic signs installation.
