Agreement with the aerospace cluster Hélice to promote the organization of joint actions that contribute the development of the sector

CATEC and Hélice have subscribed a meeting to promote the development of the joint projects that could motivate the growth of the aerospace sector in Andalusia, in particular about the R+D+I field, the internationalization and also the business cooperation

Agreement with the aerospace cluster Hélice to promote the organization of joint actions that contribute the development of the sector
FADA-CATEC and the Andalusian aerospace cluster Hélice have signed a collaboration meeting to promote the development of joint actions and joint projects in order to increase the growth of the aerospace sector in Andalusia, in particular about the R+D+I field, the internationalization and also the business cooperation between the companies that are consisting the production plot in the community.

The manager director of our centre, Juan Pedro Vela, and the cluster Hélice’s director, Manuel Cruz, subscribed this meeting. Both institutions have the same purposes and same interest, concerning the development of the Andalusian aerospace industry and, actually, they already collaborated in different initiatives and different activities ever since its creation. The signed agreement formally collects this actuation field.

The meeting establishes that FADA-CATEC and Hélice collaborate in every kind of study, courses or projects, in order to contribute the promotion of the development of the Andalusian aeronautic industry, and of its companies, but also the promotion of R+D+I initiatives, through FADA-CATEC, to allow the Andalusian business plot to participate. Both institutions have committed themselves to fortify the internationalization work in the sector, sharing their contacts network in order to obtain a better result coming from the commercial missions which have an international character, developed by the companies and the Andalusian entities, both direct business and conversely, by other countries’ signatures.

Moreover, they collaborate in other actions of interest, connected to the formation and knowledge divulgation sector (such as workshops, conventions, events, etc.), that will benefit the Andalusian aerospace cluster. The agreement will be valid, at first, for two years, but it could be extended, by tacit agreement, if the parts, after these two years, will still agree the already taken decisions.
