The Centre for Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) is currently working in developing new processes and technologies for the aerospace industry like automated bench testing for mechanical aircraft components and elements.

This kind of systems are being the more and more used in the new aeronautical programmes since data entry and management is available to be used in testing aircraft components.

CATEC is currently working in this initiative with the French aerospace company Safran who is collaborating with in developing a control system to gather information to be used in the test bank for the A350 gas lever.

For further information about this technology, you can contact the area of Robotics’ manager, Carlos Pérez..
