Joaquín Rodríguez Grau, new Managing Director of FADA
Joaquin Rodriguez Grau is the new Managing Director of the Andalusian Foundation for the Aerospace Development (FADA), after the agreement reached in the last board of the entity presided by the Director of the IDEA Agency, Antonio Galán. Since 2009, the professional career of the new managing director of FADA has been closely linked during the last six years to the Andalusian Aerospace sector as manager of the Science and Technology Aerospace Park in Andalusia.

Forest engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Rodriguez Grau began his professional career in the engineer field, in Ferrovial, and then he moved to the Andalusian Public Floor Company (EPSA) to carry the management of big projects and industrial development technologies in coordination with the General Secretary of Industry of the Innovation Science and Enterprise Department of the Regional Government.

He belongs to the Board of: Andalusia – Tech International Excellence Campus, of the Aerospace Sectorial Committee of the Andalusian Technological Corporation (CTA), and the Council for Enterprise Action of the Andalusian Aerospace Cluster HELICE. He participates in the group of experts to make the Andalusian Investigation, Development and Innovation Plan (PAIDI 2020) and has several Masters in Economic and Financial Management, Planning and Management, Postgraduate in Accounting and Financial Management.

Rodriguez Grau substitutes the deceased Juan Pedro Vela in Fada. As the new Director of FADA he will lead and manage the Centre for Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) in Seville, and the ATLAS Flight Test Centre in Jaén for unmanned air systems tests.
