EC-SAFEMOBIL takes off
Led by CATEC, this European project is backed by the VII EU Framework Programme and will be focused on developing new UAS technologies that increase its applications in disaster management, search and rescue or safety

More than 150 researchers and Scientifics attended this meeting organized by CATEC and the University of Seville, where the latest works and technologies related to UAVs were analyzed

Agreement with the aerospace cluster Hélice to promote the organization of joint actions that contribute the development of the sector
CATEC and Hélice have subscribed a meeting to promote the development of the joint projects that could motivate the growth of the aerospace sector in Andalusia, in particular about the R+D+I field, the internationalization and also the business cooperation

CATEC’s revenues increased 153% to € 3.8 millions in 2010 bolstered by R&D aerospace services
Income from RD contracts with third parties reached last year 2.2 millions of Euros, which represents 57% of the total which also grew in terms of employment with a workforce of 35 people and an increment of 52%.

Good news from Le Bourget: CATEC and Safran awarded to jointly develop a test bank for the A350 lever of gas
The agreement will mean the creation of a bank to manage automatically static and dynamic tests, reducing the time of testing, which will be integrally developed at Aerópolis CATEC’s facilities
